Barton S. Balis
About
Bart Balis has practiced bankruptcy law in Boulder for more than four decades. He represents consumer and small business debtors who are faced with overwhelming financial difficulties. Bart was the founding member of the Boulder County Bar Association Bankruptcy Committee and served as its chairman for many years. He has received the prestigious Ron Porter Award of Merit for outstanding achievement and dedication to the legal profession from the Boulder County Bar Association.
Bart has provided continuing legal education seminars to attorneys, judges, and other legal professionals on bankruptcy-related matters. He has served as the State Chairman of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. He is also involved in the community as a member of several local organizations and has served as Chairman of the Boulder Downtown Management Commission.
